We publish game guides, patch breakdowns and build explanations on the D4Realm blog, and we pay for the pieces we use. This page explains exactly what we buy, how we review it and how payment works.
What we publish
- • Practical guides: how a system actually works, what to prioritise in the first ten hours, what to skip entirely.
- • Patch breakdowns: what changed, which builds or routes it affects, and what to do differently this week.
- • Build and rotation explanations with the reasoning shown, not a bare tier list with no argument.
- • Economy pieces: what to farm, what to buy, what to ignore — tied to a specific patch and level range.
- • Beginner routes for a game we already sell: first character, first rank, first raid, first 100 hours.
What we ask of you
- • A game you play well enough that your advice holds up in a real match or encounter, not just in theory.
- • Original writing. We check submissions against existing pages; copied or spun text is rejected without payment.
- • Patch accuracy: say which version your advice applies to. If a patch invalidates a piece, tell us so we can update or retire it.
- • Your own screenshots or clips where they help — no assets lifted from other sites or creators.
- • A short piece of evidence for anything contested: a match history, a clear log, a rank screenshot.
Formats and length
- • Short guide: 700–1,000 words for one clear question, such as whether a specific build is worth committing to.
- • Deep dive: 1,500–2,500 words for a system, with headings, a table of values and a worked example.
- • Patch note: 500–800 words, published within a few days of the patch, focused on what changes for a player.
- • We do not publish listicles with no argument, or pieces that only restate what the game tells the player.
How review works
- • Send a pitch first: the game, the question the piece answers and two sample paragraphs.
- • If the angle fits we send a brief: target reader, length, the sections we want and the internal links to include.
- • Drafts get one round of edits for accuracy and clarity. We do not rewrite your piece for you.
- • We check every factual claim that carries risk: drop rates, values, timings, unlock requirements.
Payment and rights
- • Payment is agreed per piece before writing starts, so you are never writing a full draft unpaid.
- • We pay on publication, not on submission. If a piece is rejected after a full draft, we tell you exactly why.
- • You keep the byline. Published pieces stay on D4Realm, and we may update them for patch changes with credit kept.
- • Pieces cannot be published elsewhere afterwards; we are buying the piece, not the topic.
How to pitch
- • Email support@d4realm.games with the subject "Creator pitch" and the game name.
- • Include: your game, the question, why you are the right person, and two sample paragraphs of actual writing.
- • We reply to every pitch that includes a writing sample; one-line pitches without a sample usually get no reply.
- • If you already run a channel or blog, send the link — it shortens the review considerably.
What we will not ask you to do
We will not ask you to write a review of our own service, invent testimonial quotes, or produce content claiming that a boost removes all risk to an account. Those are the things that get sites penalised, and we would rather publish fewer, more accurate guides.
